How does it toil and what does it do?
Perfping is a device that allows you to ping a host continuously or with a unattached
ping using dissimilar data volumes. This can provide you an indication of the
effectuation of the route to your host. You can interchange the ping period from 2
to 30 seconds using many timeouts. The timeout is continually smaller than the pinging
period. Results are written to log window and log case if so chosen.
Unreachable hosts take a value of 0 ms.
The analysis concern sends many pings, 10 each of 10 bytes, 100 bytes, 500
bytes, 1 kbytes, 10 kbytes, 50 kybytes and 64 kbytes. The round slip times are
shown with the total and average times.
