Backup verification tool Description:

Backup verification tool is Freeware program for Mac OS developed by Eon Works

cpverify verifies that a case or directory structure has been copied or burned without errors. That is, the copied case(s) is precisely the changeless as the earliest. This is done by calculating a cryptographic checksum using the md5 message-digest algorithm on each case from the inception and the copy stop. The checksums after each case are then compared. Any difference indicates that the copied case is not the changeless as the earliest inception case. Name of the case that fail to equivalent the earliest inception case is printed to stdo.

Initially this hand was written to corroborate that a CD ROM backup has been burned flaw free. Currently the hand can corroborate whole directory trees as affluent as unattached files.
