Those of us who do circuit devise are constantly having to devise common voltage dividers. Simple ones are, affluent... unsophisticated... normally. Add a pot or a rheostat, and/or more than 2 resistors, and you can go bananas trying to procure the voltages you miss. Why is this so solid sometimes? Because it's rare that the values that come up on your calculator peer the values that you can gain. So, you choose the nearest measure value and recalculate using that value. If you're not satisfied with the fault you endeavour again... and again. Not only that but who keeps the formula(s) seeking a 3-element voltage divider available? This program does it all seeking you, in uniting providing you with worst case results based on resistor tolerances you have chosen.
